Here for the Village.Forge Father for the Good Company Cooperative. Holding equal parts mama bear, mad scientist, and funky uncle energy. Raised on Maui, so I am very much at home bodysurfing and scrambling up stream beds. My path off island was art school in Minneapolis (MCAD/BFA Interactive Media), then Italy (Masters, Interaction Design Institute Ivrea), and post-graduate experience as innovation consultant with IDEO in the Bay Area, Shanghai, Singapore, and Sydney. I've lived in Seoul, Hong Kong, and Copenhagen as well, so fairly comfortable traversing East Asia and Europe. (Wanna go holoholo?) Good Company for Kids (i.e. Aram as Village Uncle) is often water based or nature excursions if in my home land of Maui. I'm also happy to tutor and work as K-12 substitute teacher. My classes love learning Sing-Song Korean with me. For Adults, I wear many hats: tech sherpa, generativity guide, kitchen witch, adventure buddy, dance partner, wave play and ocean safety support, and one of my favorite compliments; "good tobacco" grounded masculine presence. For Kupuna/Elders/Seniors, I often play a tech sherpa role, intergenerational bridge, and a still hopeful, tech-savvy, world weathered window to a more beautiful future. Generativity is Active Hope. My most familiar Out & About ("Holoholo") zones are Maui, PNW, Seoul, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Taiwan, northern Italy and Copenhagen. Korean, Mandarin, and Japanese are my most familiar second languages. Circumnavigated the globe from East to West. Good with logistics, driving, and navigation in general. 6'5" physically fit, love hiking, sport, and dance.
